Publication Charges

The Journal of Biomedical Sciences and Health (JBSH) is committed to providing open access to high-quality research. To support our operations and maintain publication standards, the following fee structure applies:

Article Submission Fee

IDR 0 (FREE)

Authors are not charged any submission fees. There is no cost to submit your manuscript to JBSH, regardless of whether the article is ultimately accepted or rejected.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

IDR 0 (FREE)

If your article is accepted for publication, you will not be required to pay any Article Processing Charges (APC). JBSH does not charge authors for the publication of accepted manuscripts.

Turnitin Plagiarism Check

2 Free Checks per Manuscript

Authors are provided with two (2) free Turnitin plagiarism checks for each submitted manuscript. This allows authors to:

Check their manuscript before initial submission
Revise and recheck after making corrections

Additional Checks: If authors require more than two Turnitin checks due to multiple revisions, additional fees may apply. Please contact the editorial office for information about additional plagiarism check costs.

Fee Waiver Policy

JBSH is committed to supporting researchers from all backgrounds. Fee waivers or discounts may be available for:

Authors from low-income countries
Students and early-career researchers (case-by-case basis)
Authors facing financial hardship

To request a fee waiver, please contact the editorial office with your justification before manuscript submission.

Important Notes

No Hidden Costs: JBSH does not charge any hidden fees. All costs (if any) are clearly communicated to authors before acceptance.
Payment Timeline: If fees apply in the future, payment will only be requested after manuscript acceptance and before publication.
Refund Policy: Submission fees (if charged) are non-refundable. However, if an article is rejected before peer review, processing fees will not be charged.
Invoice: Official invoices will be provided for any charges, if applicable.

Announced at least 6 months in advance
Clearly communicated on our website
Applied only to new submissions after the announcement date
