Core publication commitments
JBSH provides immediate open access. Authors retain copyright and published articles use the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The journal charges no submission, processing, or publication fees. Eligible manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, and editorial decisions are made independently of commercial considerations.
Policies may be revised when necessary to reflect current publication-ethics standards, legal requirements, or journal operations. Material changes apply prospectively unless correction of the scholarly record requires otherwise.
